The Cuica Stick package includes a replacement 10” friction rod with a hex nut, washer, and stick. Before assembling, measure length of drum to determine how much you will need trim the stick length. Using sharp scissors, make an even cut to trim the stick cone inch shorter than the drum shell length. You can also use extra-fine sand paper to even the stick surface. The smoother the surface, the louder and clearer the tones. Available in size: 10".
